THE WOES OF A FAILED SYSTEM

The promise of a Democracy was the promise that the people's voice would be heard. Not just when it is convenient. Not only when those in power agree with it. Democracy is not a "sometimes" thing, its not something "you" can put in your pocket, take out every now and then when it suits you. Not everyone who disagrees with you is a traitor. It ain't news that "we" persevere. Its our only choice and who we are in the face of hate.We are all victims of a failed system both the dead and the living. When 90% of the country's wealth is controlled by 10% of the population, and you add to that Cronyism, Corruption, political repression, pretty soon people will get desperate . And when people are desperate, they do desperate things as is the case today; "its not enough to hope" they'll say, "we have to do something". You can't blame them cos none of us is without stain, none of us. People who are cornered, do desperate things and at that point, it might even be self defense. They make us believe they are sorry, how can you be sorry and guilty at the same time? Or does repeating a lie often enough make it the truth? I for one do not encourage violence cos all violence brings is more violence. But then, I can only speak for myself and not the enslaved masses.
