Today, 1st of October, marks the 57th independence anniversary of my dear country, Nigeria. I love my country with passion and zeal, even though we have more ethnic diversities disturbing the country but still were able to survive and still live in one accord by God's grace!

I hail from Enugu State, the eastern past of Nigeria. Capital of so-called Biafra Sub-Region, recently there was a little clash between the IPOB (Igbo People of Biafra) and the Nigerian military, but to God be the glory.. Everything has been settled..

Now talking about my country, Nigeria is one of the most dominant and most populated country in Africa, known for raising talents and stars worldwide.

Nigeria is a place for hardworking fellows who tend to work their way out to success without waiting for governments..

Nigeria was colonized by Britain under the rule of Sir Fedrick Lord Lugard which started in 1914.
Consisting of 3 main clan known as the Igbo(dominating the east side), hausa (on the north side) and yorubas (south and west).
Igbos are known for business, Hausa deal mainly on agriculture and farming while Yorubas concentrated on acquiring knowledge!

Nigeria gained her independence on this day 1960, her first internal president was Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe!
Nigeria survived military rule for some years not until 1999 when Democracy came in to play and the people were able to vote for whom they wish to be their president for a period of 4years.

I'll stop here for now, to know more about my country simply Google Search "About Nigeria"
