So I decided to use the "7 layers to drawing of a portrait " tutorial by @skyleap to create his own portrait.
It was very explanatory, and simple, I believe anybody that want to start drawing a portrait, can easily start from there.
The tutorial is in @skyleap blog or @yanga blog (because I retweeted it).

Tool used: Adobe Illustrator
Upload the image on Adobe illustrator
Then start tracing the outlines; eyes, nose, ears, mouth, eye brow, eyelids, hair etc.
Fill in color to the outline.
Draw the outline of the body
Fill in color
And boom!!! that's the final image.
