NIGERIA

Our flag has lost its meaning, Our hero's past, their labour are now in vain, the new Nigeria they dreamt of is yet to emerge like Atlantis it's under the sea. We are slaves in our father's land, the rich are getting richer the poor are getting sold, same old same old, an old wife's tale, cry me a river o cry me a river.
My people seeking for greener pastures but they are sent home in a box. Cry me a river o cry me a river, MAMA Africa see the children of your beautiful daughter Nigeria, living from hand to mouth and our leaders are laughing in their sleeves. This is the law of the jungle, we are been left for death, cry me a river o cry me a river.
My native soil the land I'd gladly die for, the smiles of our mothers, story of our fathers, keeps our hopes alive. Never In a million years would I let our generation unborn be slaves in this land of ours.
