As most of the follower of the club know, we will not be holding our Thursday night club meeting this MONTH
INSTEAD SATURDAY JUNE 10, STARTING 2.00PM AT MERRYLESS HOTEL DANNEVIRKE WE WILL BE CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF A PASSED MEMBER AND THE MOST AWESOME MUSO I HAVE EVER HAD THE PRIVILEGE PREFORMING WITH. THE ONE AND ONLY GARY LUCRE.

We will be privileged to have special guests, the likes of Tuma K, Mahia and Shane Blackmore, Shane Harvey Craven Noble

to mention just a few.

A great afternoon and evening of free entertainment of which this town has not seen in many years.

So come along and help us celebrate the life of one GREAT man.

HookyIs meeting your other half at a night club such a bad thing? I don't think so.

A few of you know this already. I met my husband one spring night back in April 1998. It was at a night club in London's West End.

I'd been out with my friend, Simone. In those days we went everywhere together, partners in crime. This night, my sister might have been with us.

Anyway, I saw this good-looking guy sitting at the bar on his own as I went to order a drink. He was drinking brandy. He smiled at me and I said hello. We started chatting. In the end we swapped numbers and I went back to my friend. He left the club while I danced the night away with my friend.

Days later, we chatted on the phone and eventually started dating. Years later, we got married.

So as you can read, I've known my husband for almost 19 years although we've been married for 12 years.

My point: a venue or location does not make a bad person. It is the person you should assess. Not where you met them. There are bad people in churches just as there are good people in night clubs.

And another thing, if you see someone you like, step forward, smile, say hello. You never know. He/she could be the one. 😘
