Nicholas Rubtsou I'm practically a countryman. I like it at the time, have dual citizenship: Kholmogory - Vologda. But our Association in no way I'm not flattered, and certainly does not elevate my existence. Moreover, my recent lack of knowledge of Nikolai Rubtsov's work, with the widespread mention of his name in Vologda: Nikolai Rubtsov street, the Museum of his name, as well as the open festival of poetry and music "Rubtsov's autumn" - exposed my ignorance and languished in a silent reproach.
With this gap in education and the shameful feeling I decided to finish this year (better late than never). Took in library the collection of verses of Nikolay Rubtsov "Nikolay Rubtsov", published in 1998, and studied it.
A collection of poems by Nikolai Rubtsov I read slowly, trying to feel and perform, which was not difficult. And all because Nikolai Rubtsov did not write abstractly or vitally. On the contrary, all his feelings, all his passion for the Motherland, morphology, woman or nature of the Northern region are open and understandable to the widest range of readers. About myself I can add that the poetry of Nikolai Rubtsov left me with mixed feelings - of admiration and sadness. And still, I was not a little surprised when I learned that Alexander Barykin's song - I will drive a bike for a long time. written in verse N.Rubtsova.
BOUQUET
I will long
Chase the bike.
In the remote meadows to stop him.
Narva flowers.
And give the bouquet
The girl I love.
I'll tell her:
