the bible is the amazing book that ever existed, because it tells stories that make people lean back to think about the world they are living in, about their own selves, and about their apprehension of this world. nimrod was not only a gibbor (nephilim) but also a tyrant, the founder of assyria and babylon. remember those are the 2 nations that brought israel into captivity, attempting to destroy that nation. assyria took the 10 kingdom into captivity in assyria around 722-21 b.c, and brought pagans to repopulate the land, and babylon brought the southern kingdom into captivity and destroyed Jerusalem and the temple of god. the plan of satan has always been to destroy israel so he can make god a liar, but god is ( el elyon) all powerful. satan was defeated at the cross (I Corinthians 2:6-8)
Most people, including Christians, do not understand the purpose of the nephilim. Satan planned the corrupting of the bloodlines to prevent the fulfillment of the promise of the birth of the redeemer kinsman, Jesus.
