After the sunny beach at Xiangshan had fulfilled my daughter's and my wishes, we went to see the lake and the mountains on the way. But West Lake is always crowded with people, not to mention the double golden week, and the crowds can really spoil the mood. So I opted for Ningbo's Dongqian Lake, which is the most beautiful lake I've ever seen on TV.
In fact, the name Dongqian Lake has also been ringing in the clouds, with a winding shoreline, a wide view, soft mountains, like ink and water, 36 villages staggered, 72 streams injected, 81 ridge surrounded.
Dongqian Lake is located in the southeastern suburbs of Ningbo, Mr. Guo Moruo called it "the charm of the West and the spirit of Taihu Lake", and it is the largest freshwater lake in Zhejiang, three or four times larger than West Lake in Hangzhou, so it should be more secluded than West Lake when you visit Dongqian Lake.
But Dongqian Lake is too big after all, so which point is the key to visit? Some people have taken advantage of the situation and have chosen Hanling Ancient Town, but when I drove the car near my destination, I was shocked at the number of people and traffic!
After a long drive with no hope of parking, we had to drive back until we found a parking space, knowing how far away we were from our target and that we would have to walk back afterwards, but what else could we do?
It took 2 hours to get from Shipu to here, and at 11.02am on 10.3, I took this picture.
But the scenery around the car park is truly stunning, perhaps because the weather was so good! The lake is surrounded by mountains, the mountains are reflected in the lake, the clouds are floating, the water is flowing, it is as beautiful as a painting.
It was noon, the sun was shining on the lake, the breeze was blowing and the lake was sparkling with dazzling waves of light.
