ETCM officially announced the price of Nissan Almera turbo in 2020, which was launched in Malaysia in three different forms.
The base price of Almera VL is RM83,888, but SST exemption reduces it to rm79906 until 31 December. The mid-range VLP is priced at rm89888, but is currently priced at rm85715, excluding SST, until the end of the year. Finally, Almera's top VLT will be priced at rm95888, but will be sold at rm91310 by December 31. All the prices are on the road, there is no insurance.
The fourth generation N18, which debuted in Thailand in November last year, was previewed last month, and the specifications of the three models were fully exposed at that time. All in all, the locally assembled Almera turbocharger is powered by an hr10det (called hra0 in Thailand) 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine.
The unit provides 100 horsepower at 5000 rpm and 152 nm of torque between 2400 and 4000 rpm, coupled with the Xtronic CVT, with level D logic and Sport mode, power is delivered to the front wheels.
The standard equipment of the whole series includes LED tail lights and led rear fog lights, rear diffuser in the same color, in glass radio antenna and power folding side mirror.
As for the interior package, all models are equipped with zero gravity seats, keyless entry and one button ignition, tilt / telescopic steering wheel adjustment, artificial carbon fiber graphic finish of gear knob, front center console with armrest, audio control buttons on the steering wheel, three USB ports and 60:40 folding rear seats.
Next, the external differences between the different models begin with headlamp configurations – both the VL and the VLP are equipped with halogen headlamps (auto on / off) and halogen daytime running lights and fog lamps, while the VLT is equipped with LEDs (headlamps, daytime driving lights and fog lamps) at the front.
In other respects, the VLT also has an extra glossy black trunk lid spoiler, and the wheel design is also different. The VL is equipped with a 15-inch alloy unit that wraps the 195 / 65 tire, while the VLP and VLT are equipped with machined two tone 16-inch wheels and 205 / 55 rubber.
Inside the vehicle, the VL has a front half bucket seat made of fabric with a grey accent, manual air conditioning, a four-speaker radio / USB audio system with auxiliary and Bluetooth connectivity, and a polyurethane steering wheel.
The VLP upgrades the kit level to leather seats, automatic air conditioning and a two-tone dashboard with a soft touch dashboard cover. It also features a 6-speaker Nissan connect infotainment system, an 8-inch touch screen and apple CarPlay support, a leather steering wheel, a rear camera and a full-color 7-inch digital display on the dashboard.
The VLT has the same specification level as the VLP, but adds cruise control and additional driver AIDS. It also adds a 360-degree intelligent rear view (bird's-eye view) and a bird's-eye view of dynamic vision.
In terms of safety, all three Nissan Almera turbo models are equipped with intelligent forward collision warning and intelligent forward emergency braking (also known as AEB), vehicle dynamic control (VDC) and traction control, ABS, EBD, brake assist, two rear ISOFIX points and hill start assist. As for the number of airbags, there are two in VL and six in VLP and VLT (front, side and curtain).
Nissan Almera 2020 is available in six exterior colors - Radiant Red, imperial orange, dark metallic grey, Diamond Black, tungsten silver and bright white. Almera also offers optional accessories with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty and five free maintenance services (including parts and labor).
