What is Nitro?
Nitro is a blockchain-based online collaboration platform. Nitro seeks to allow mass participation in the video-games economy, to connect various stakeholders, and to achieve growth for the overall Nitro network.
Using the new blockchain crypto-currency called NOX, this economic platform will solve the problems currently plaguing the various actors in the video-games industry(centralization), and benefit the global video-games community.
The video-games industry generated over US$110 billion in revenue in 2017, with predictions showing a growth of 30% over the next 5 years. However, the problems currently present in the video-games industry impose limits to the video-games community over the course of this growth. The lack of access to funding for new Promising Game Studios poses is a significant problem.
Currently, funding is mostly taken by the large video game companies with little left over for new game studios.
Nitro aims to solve this problem.
How it works:
Nitro works in 3 different categories: participation, connection and growth.
Participation:
The panel of industry professionals chooses games to feature and NOX holders vote on the game that they would like to see funded. NITRO funded and third-party games incorporate the use of NOX and will be published on NITRO Marketplace.
Connection:
The transactions go through the Nitro marketplace which allows gamers to find and discover new games and studios to interact with players.
Growth:
Games that are funded will share revenue every 3 months with NITRO (BTC/ETH/fiat). 60% of the revenue share received in NOX will be purchased to fund new games. NITRO enables NOX holders to participate in, voting for games, bonuses and special game features and a 10% discount on in-game currency.
Benefits for using Nitro:
Crowdsale:
-Decmber 1 - 26
-1 ETH = 800 NOX
-Crowdsale Early Incentives: First 24 hours – 25% bonus Subsequent 48 hours – 15% bonus

Conclusion:
Nitro looks like a very promising ICO in my opinion. It has a problem, the video game industry, and a solution, Nitro, which is a good first sign when looking into investing in an ICO. There is much more research to be done before I will decide to fund the crowdsale or not but right now I am looking toward investing!
I hope you've enjoyed and learned something from this brief ICO Report! Let me know if I missed anything as I am always looking to improve.
