So Yesterday I came across this Post by @dreemsteem asking those of us against the 50/50 rewards change for HF21 to Voice themselves...

Perhaps We Need to Speak As ONE

If you are against having your post rewards slashed by over 33% then go over to that post and leave your user name & or show support. It is never too late to have your voice heard. I really don't want to see the little content creators we have on here driven away due to low payouts.

To me this changes only seem to benefit those that have a large steem power while oppressing those that are putting in daily effort to come up with content. I keep asking, what is a platform without daily content creators? No matter how many DApps are built on Steem, without Users, the platform will be as good as dead. What makes great platforms are the users and the user experience, something STEEM is constantly struggling with. Do we really want to see the few active users we have leave? The way I see it, curators can always create content to earn more if they as so much interested in rewards rather than taking away from the creators.

Dreemsteem is a female though, last time I checked 🙄

I don't understand why people keep complaining about it... Can you honestly say Steemit works fine as it works now? We all know our content and videos are mostly ignored and we need more content consumers here.. 50/50 might not be a solution for it but definitely at least a try..we gotta experiment till we find a solution/balance. Current state is definitely flawed...also we'll be getting DTC now as well soo I'm willing to take a steem paycut..for the growth of the platform it's worth it.

DTC That is currently worth nothing & that isn't listed anywhere👏👏 That's gonna take time.

If we arr experimenting, can't we experiement with 20/80?? Maybe that way we can actually retain content creators/ users😩🙄

We have lack of content consumers not of content creators :D system needs to change to favour consumers more

And you think ppl would rather abandon fbk, twitter, ig etc to come consume content on Steem? Because if they buy enough SP, they can earn curation rewards? LOL

Worth a try at least..if we're really in early stages of this platform, the time to experiment is now and not later when the platform has muuuuch more users.

Just gonna watch how this unfolds, I do think it's going to add to the long list of what Steem has done wrong and contributed to it's fall.

I’m with with you on this. Gotta have then backs of people who take time to build good content for the blockchain.

I think 50/50 is smart what I don't think is right is the continued drain on the system of a few people cashing out monthly steem and contribute NOTHING to the growth of it. There are a ton of leaches on here and steems market cap is clearly showing this as we are almost back down to all time lows.
