It is more easier to stay in steemit if you took it as social media platform and not being concerned with payouts. It is a simple change of attitude to cope with the current state of steemit.

I really have no intentions to make money right now on steemit. I think I'm primarily curious with my bidbot experiment to gain more vested steem power so I can upvote more for the people I find interesting and inspires me to question. Like yourself. I'm glad I found you through @steevc. Definitely following you for your adventures ahead :) I think perfection is incredibly tedious. Imperfect beings are full of creativity.

You are right. Some people put on blinders. This is not a black and white subject.
It is very subjective depending on what level you are at. If you have a whale friend then no worries.
Other people write great posts and have no visibility if they use a bot and their post is good then vote them up.
Then they will stop using bots. It is about getting noticed. I think the original creator of the first bot saw the need and also, of course, a way to make money.
If someone says if you use a bot I will not vote for you. Well then of course the person has to continue using bots. It is a very strange situation for sure.

I think steemit is a social media as bot using doesn't qualify our content. I love steemit because it's useful not wasteful like other's social media. And your content are always creative as i like your content. Hope next day steemit will be more popular and smart.

I have used them sparingly, some people abuse them.
I don't mind if others use bidbots, however, it is great when a whale notices you instead.
Then all whales don't think alike so I am open to whatever anyone does.
