The burner photo is cool! The picky work rules that most workplaces have are dumb. People do not function like machines, and naturally we would break up work with little breaks or social time. We're probably far more productive that way - and happier! So I say keep being sneaky. It probably makes you better at your job, despite corporate micromanaging.
