HMD Global has started sending out invites for the launch of its new smartphone on August 16th. The event is scheduled to take place in London next month where Nokia 8 is likely to be unveiled. The invite says that press are invited to an “exclusive gathering” to check out “the next milestone for Nokia phones.”
There has been already few leaks and press shots of the phone circulating already on the internet. surrounding the leaks, one of the most talked features of this phone is its dual setup of Carl Zeiss Lense. The specifications of this phone had already surfaced on benchmarking websites. According to the leaks, the Nokia 8 will have a 5.3-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) 518ppi Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. The phone will come two variants, 4GB RAM with 64GB Internal and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal memory. The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB using microSD Card.
Talking about the camera, The Nokia 8 will have 13-megapixel Dual rear cameras setup with Carl ZEISS optics along with dual-tone LED flash. At front, it will have 13-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The phone will also have a fingerprint sensor embedded with home screen as well as dual speakers for multimidia lovers. For connectivity, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2 LE will present and it will come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

The Nokia 8 is rumored to come in Blue, Gold, Steel with Blue and Gold with Copper colors. The expected price is 589 Euros (US$ 686 / Rs. 44195 approx.). However, all these are only rumors, the final specifications and its price will be unfolded next month on AUG 16 in London. Stay tuned for that….
