I have been using the Skills for change/Sparked micro-volunteering platform and I love it.
16 461 challenges has been solved by thousands of micro-volunteers for hundreds of nonprofits.
Micro-volunteers are happy to spend few hours to help nonprofits.
What if they would be rewarded to do it ?
Some would prefer to continue to do it on a volunteer basis anyway, because giving your time for a noble cause makes you happy.
Steemit is the perfect platform for micro-voluntering.
How it could work :
- Enter « Steemit micro-volunteering – Task # xx » as a title of your post
- A category in the tags
categories are : youth; women-issues; education; health; poverty; community-support; volunteering; social-entrepreneurship; environment; civil-rights; disability; arts; homlessness - Introduce the nonprofit you want to help
- Describe your micro-challenge (need to be done by a member of the nonprofit)
- Micro-volunteers will answer by replying to the post
Not only the challenge will be solved but the author of the challenge will be reward if the whales like this idea, agree to sponsor this action or if curated by steemtrail-nonprofit.
The micro-volunteers will earn 25 % of the incomes of the post.
The non profit can also choose to transfer some steem to the problem solver(s)
Let's try it !
I think this is an excellent and noble idea, and I will be participating in this initiative.
