the cycle of the zodiac is 24 thousand years, which means man, would have to follow the starts for 24k/yrs. to know that its a cycle and not a continues event you need another cycle, 48k. i would argue at least one more cycle to test the theory. that would put humanity back 75k years ish before Sumer, minimum.
