Upvoted for presenting a solid argument. I was unaware of such dealings between the U.S and Germany (and furthermore to North Korea).
In my mind, as I believe many others like me as well believe, there is no such thing as a war of attrition any longer. It's common knowledge that almost every single war within the last 200 years has been an orchestration of the powers at be to consolidate, re-organize, attain power, and the like. Yellow journalism is still quite the problem, and no one considers how skewed the global paradigm really is.
What do you think is to come of all it though? Will Kim Jong get a fat paycheck and get sent away like Hitler to live in obscurity? North Korea becomes part of South Korea again and they just become "Korea"? The U.S gets more gold and resources? How's China feel about all this?
Great post!
