The president of the United States highlighted the "unwavering faith" of the North Korean leader in his person, in the middle of a scandal for an alleged "resistance" within the White House that rejects a supposed predilection of the Republican by dictators
In the midst of the scandal over the letter from an anonymous official who reveals the alleged existence of a "resistance" within the White House, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, thanked on Thursday for his "unwavering faith" in his person. of the North Korean "boss" Kim Jong-un.
Trump and Kim staged a thaw in relations between Washington and Pyongyang this year after a 2017 charged with cross-threats of nuclear war. In June, both leaders met in Singapore at a historic summit in which the denuclearization of the peninsula was agreed upon, a process that is now seemingly stagnant.
"Kim Jong-un from North Korea proclaims his 'unwavering faith in President Trump', thanks to Chief Kim, we will achieve it together," said the Republican from his Twitter account, using the term "Chairman" (boss or president in non-republican contexts) to refer to the autocratic leader.

Kim had expressed this faith in the US leader and the process of denuclearization during a meeting on Wednesday with the special envoy of South Korea, Chung Eun-yong, as reported by CNN.
While Trump's statements come a day after the New York Times published a letter attributed to a senior anonymous official in which he realizes the alleged performance of a network of Trump collaborators determined to moderate and limit certain attitudes of the president "harmful to the health of the republic."
In this way, the author of the article described a presidency of "two tracks": in one, Trump says one thing and in the second, his team makes another.
Kim Jong-un inherited power in 2011 after the death of his father Kim Jong-il
In the letter, which has shaken US policy, special reference is made to Trump's presumed predilection by authoritarian and dictatorial rulers such as the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-un, and the attempts of the "resistance" of preventing this from being translated into concrete actions.
In the case of Kim, the supreme leader of North Korea inherited power after the death of his father Kim Jong-il, who in turn reached the top of the regime after the death of his own father Kim Il-sung.
The Kim family has dominated North Korea since its founding in 1948, and grandfather, father and grandson have ruled by forced labor, mass executions, blockades of basic freedoms and an extreme cult of personality.

The text "is not mine," said Pompeo, at a time when rumors about its author are proliferating during a press conference in New Delhi.
"If one is not in a position to carry out the president's project, there is only one option left: and instead, this person, according to the New York Times, chose not only to stay but also to undermine what President Trump and his administration try to do, "he added.
