So anyway I really forsee Steem catching on with North Koreans much like how Venezuelans have really caught onto steem as a way to earn money and have banking services, allowing others to send them money and controlling their own finances with their own private keys. North Koreans citizens could end up being allowed to use steem if they either used their own North Korean Front End OR like Golos, forked steem and made a DPRK friendly blockchain which would suck and no one but North koreans would use it. Instead I see North koreans perhaps just using Golos.io and having fun with the Russians who are their old friends who helped them out for decades during the cold war. I really do see this as their best option as using the open steem chain would be un thinkable, as they would have to much freedom. I mean most north koreans dont even have internet to begin with, all they have is their own intra net, and a special DPRK version of golos will probably be created for north koreans to be told to use, just like they have these "red star" android linux versions for their north korean smartphones. Because they have a tendency to make a limited communist version of everything electronic, I do believe North Korea may end up creating their own version of steem, or like I said perhaps using golos with heavy filters. Actually to spread North Korean propaganda would be helpful to the North Koreans, having an army of North Koreans all posting pro north korean content and upvoting them with Bid Bots on the main steem chain might be a good way to influence the western mind, even get people to donate or upvote out of sympathy, only to end up having that money go into the hands of the North Korean Government... oh yeah I could totally see that happening!
