Pyongyang: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un told them Saturday (April 21st) that they will stop the nuclear test and the intercontinental missile launch. US President Donald Trump welcomes Kim's statement. These two leaders will meet in the month of May. Earlier on April 20, North Korea and South Korea started the hotline service for talks between their leaders before the next week's summit. Summit is being aimed at resolving the problem related to North Korea's nuclear program.
South Korea's Presidential Office said that there was a successful negotiation on the hotline as a test between South African President House Blue House and North Korea's State Affairs Commission. The State Affairs Commission is the highest decision-making body of North Korea, whose leader is Kim Jong, the leader of North Korea.
Within a week, Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon J are going to be meeting attendants in these civilian areas. Prior to that, the two leaders have plans to make a telephone call for the first time. South Korean officials said that the hotline service will continue to be maintained even after the summit, and this will help in negotiating arrangements and removing misconceptions during tension. This is the latest step taken between the Korean Peninsula and the revolving diplomacy around it.
