Once upon a time there was a man who told me that if it's messed up and untidy in your surroundings, it gets messed up and untidy in your head. And of course, at the same time; if you clean up and things are in order around you, it gets neat and tidy in your head.
I'm a person who likes to keep it clean, but it's not always I'm good at tidying up. After the man told me this simple rule, I have always cleaned up in my apartment if I have felt frustrated or bored.
And .... it helps ... EVERY TIME.
The man who told me this was of course none other than Mr. @Ramta himself.
So Dear @BabsBoard, I understand the need to take a little cleaning break. And in the meantime it's very nice for us to have a new 'Call my name'-game with @Ramta . It's great fun to read all the nice comments for this post.

Since we don't have a topic, I'll just write about my day.
I'm in the final year of my college, and am working on a project currently.
I have to do tests to see how super plasticizers influence the quality of concrete. This requires a lot of labor and since I was fasting it was all the more exhausting.
During the break, I enjoyed this beautiful scenery
Just 15 minutes spent with mother nature and I was completely recharged and ready for another go. If you know how to appreciate and enjoy nature, it works as fuel to boost you no matter how tough the situation you're in.

Almost three months ago when my friend told me about @Steemit & its Features & how i can earn money by uploading my articles, images, videos & also by commentaries, to hear that my first reaction was "if this is for real". Today I'm traveling to Rauland close to Rukan. A beautiful place in Norway, don't know if you have ever been there? I have been there once. A lovely place to visit. What I will I be doing in Rauland? Well this is a 8 days retreat to take care of body and mind.
I have noticed that you lately have been taking about getting caught i traps. And I must admit I have let my self been caught in several traps, many of them have been speed traps, and traps of unfinished works, aka not finished circles. You thought me a life time lesson when you explained about this circles for me. I have been living my life on high speed, always juggling between different projects and a lot of things to do. "A 1000 thoughts at the same time" I know that it is only possible to have one thought at the time, but skipping from on to the other without finishing anything completely. This have made my life much harder then i had ever expected or realized. I have i beautiful wife, that i have been married to for over 15 years and she has always try to explain to me that my way of doing things needs to be changed for her to be more relaxed. I never understood what this was all about and did continue with my way f thinking and living.
The last 5 years I have been reading a lot f self- development books about how to do better in life, but i actually have missed out on this point. I have learned a lot and improved my life quality and understanding from this books, but this small lesson you had with me gave me an understanding with extreme high value. So many thanks to you for this lesson. For those of you that wonders what this is all about you can read my earlier posts about this here click here I have also done some follow ups that you can see on my profile.
After learning this my life has changed a lot to the better. I have also understood that what i thought was excellent to do, juggling a lot of things to do at the same time, is not smart and effective, rather the opposite. You loos you mane focus and don't get your full attention on what you are doing. I did some thinking about this, ow to explain it with other words, and the best explanation i found that is easy to understand is; When you sit down to eat a better meal, while watching the Tv, scrolling your phone or you laptop. This will give you a nice meal but you will loos something with out been aware of it, well i at least do. I loos the attention to my food, I eat but don't taste the food, don't experience the different flavors, don't get my attention to one thin, the food experience. My attention is all over the place, not with the experience of me enjoying my food experience. This might sound strange, but if you don't believe me you should try it. Sit down have a great meal and your only focus should be on this, not drifting round in your head or doing other things at the same time. Another word for this is Mindfulness
So again thank you for teaching me a way to understand how to change my life to the better.
I want to share a video with you, that gives me a lot of feelings. This is to show that small acts from ordinary people can change your day.
Speed traps. For me this is when
my mind is set up to finish the job, not on the result or how to to it as best as possible to avoid making mistakes or with not good enough quality.
You can also look at how I started using Steemit. Without understanding how this is going to work, I headed out in full speed. Searching followers, upvoting everything and posting one-liner comments. What did this give me? A lot of followers that don't give me any upvotes. A lot of feed news that is not in my interest, and a lot of commenting without getting anything back. Not a reply or a upvote.
So I had to learn, and by learning from one of the best. My account has grown, my comments are better and I'm having a lot of success in my life and at Stemmit.
So my advice to you all is listen and pay attention to your life, how you play your role, listen when someone that knows they game gives you advices (like @Ramta and @Babsboard are doing a lot of)
It is allowed and expected to make mistakes. But try to not look at it as mistakes, just a way to learn how to do things better. Always look a head and have focus on what you are doing right now.

We have all experienced this feeling of spending a lot of time working on something without really having concrete results.
For me, it was a real frustration. Having to spend a lot of time on something and having the impression of not making any progress.
I always wondered why I had this feeling. Still, it was not complicated. The problem was simply that I did not know how to focus on one thing at a time.
Most of the time, what really stops us from concentrating is ourselves. Lack of discipline and organization are the most common causes of lack of concentration.

The struggle for the consciousness of identity and cultural freedom which began with the advent of the student movements of the 60's gained momentum in the mass movement of non-cooperation in 1969. Though it brought about the fall of a mighty military ruler like Ayub Khan, the ultimate goal of self-rule was not achieved. After this, came the election of 1970 with absolute victory of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.In the elections of December 7, 1970 the Awami League won 160 out of 162 seats in East Pakistan, all but two, and would have had a clear majority in the new assembly had it been convened. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman became the majority party leader of the Pakistan National Assembly .

Thus Bangladesh plunged into a gory war seeking its own birth.
During the nine month struggle which ensued an estimated three million Bengalis died and and ten million refuges fled into India. Sheikh Mujib was imprisoned in west Pakistan. I have been here almost a year on my main account @felander and I am way higher count than that but I do like interaction and I try to make at least a nice comment or interaction on people that comment on my posts. They should not all be the best you will ever write but there should be some thought and substance behind it at least.

On @babsboard last post. I learnt a life changing methodology, babsboard shared a steemit secret. He said it is not many post or comment that earns you enough but the quality of the post or comment that will earn you much. I got to the opportunity to see that secret because I came back to read others people's responses on the post, so I can improve on mine because Steemit is like a school and everybody I learn something new.

Hi everyone, this is quite the interesting game. I guess the rules are straightforward enough, but i don't see a writing prompt so it's not totally clear what to write a comment about. Therefore, I assume that we can write about anything and I hope you'll like it. I apologize if the topic is too random.
Where I am in the north western part of the USA, we have a special kind of salmon, the kokanee. It's native to our freshwater lakes and is unique because it only stays in freshwater for all its life. But its population is severely declining, apparently 5 years ago we counted 18,000 of them returning to spawn, but this year only 20 (!) have returned to spawn. I think this is tragic, if the environment is healthy for the fish, it's healthy for us. If it's not, it's a big warning.
I'm not totally sure why the numbers of kokanee have declined but some have blamed rising lake temperatures as being very uncomfortable for them, stressing them out and making them easier prey - very easy prey, apparently. The region is also developing very quickly, maybe lake pollution also hurts them.
It looks like you guys are based in Norway, looks like the country would be very familiar with fishing and salmon? Does your country have success stories in say cleaning up rivers and seeing life return to it, or maybe they never needed cleaning? I like hearing about life...

But why does it feel so hard to do the right thing? for example, telling the truth is hard, and lying is easy to some people, it should not be so. Doing the right thing should become a part of us, it should be a continuous thing till it becomes us.
If we recognize this, then this game is very easy to play because the rules are quite simple, and its a great chance for everybody to win.

This caught my attention, reddington is my favorite artist who features in the movie called blacklist, being an amazing guy bestow with a lot of intelligence could have the FBI in his control and always get things done perfectly together with her chosen one Elizabeth, she is also a perfect matched for the role giving to her. It is a big problem with bad comments. Both for the reader and writer who waste his or her time on writing nonsense.
I normally confront people on it. I try to respond to all traffic to my acount (replies/comments), but often is it hard because they give me no info nor topic to keep the discussion going further. And 8 out of 10 times the have some kind of begging of following them or liking them.
What is the right thing to do?

It is really amazing what you do @babsboard. The good part is that you have clearly written out what every individual needs to know to enjoy been a part of the game here. So as to avoid any mistakes that could eat them up later.
I particularly miss the garage sale and I really can’t wait for the recommencement. It is always fun to be here. This place is for winners. People who don’t give up. People who fix whatever wrong that there is.

Israel's Supreme Court has unanimously rejected two petitions brought by human rights groups demanding Israel's army to stop using snipers and live ammunition against unarmed Palestinian protests in the Gaza Strip.
The panel of three justices on Thursday sided with the Israeli military, which argued that the protesters constituted a real danger to Israeli soldiers and citizens.
Israel maintains its forces use of live fire is in line with both domestic and international law, arguing the demonstrations are part of the country's conflict with Hamas, which governs the Gaza Strip.
The court's ruling gave Israel "a green light to its continued use of snipers and live fire against Palestinian protesters", Adalah - The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel and Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, which filed one of the petitions, said in a statement on Friday.
"The Israeli Supreme Court completely ignored the broad factual basis presented to it by the petitioners, which includes multiple testimonies of wounded and reports of international organisations involved in documenting the killing and wounding of unarmed protesters in Gaza".
The human rights groups said the court "refused to watch video clips documenting Israeli shootings of demonstrators and, rather than actually
examining the case, fully accepted the claims presented to it by the state.
"The extreme nature of the ruling is also highlighted by the striking absence of any mention of the casualty figures that had been presented to the court".
Yesh Din, one of the rights groups that brought the other petition, also criticised the court's decision.
"The judges missed an opportunity to prevent the continuation of the killing and injuries," it said on Twitter.

Its a local Village Fair called "Baroi Mela". Its really a colorful fair. In this fair, local businessmen sell lots of colorful handcraft product. This fair is last just for one day. Its also called "Choitro Songkranti" Fair. Men, Women & Children come from distant places to attend this fair. Every year more than 10,000 people come to enjoy this fair. Lalakhal is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Sylhet. Lalakhal is a wide canal located Sharee River near the Tamabil road. The river is not much deep and it is one of the sources of sand in Sylhet. The focal point of the canal is water. The water has a variety of colors blue, green, clear water at different points.
It is located nearly 43.5 km away from Sylhet town. You may take CNG auto rickshaw or bus heading towards highway close to Shari Gowain River. Three type of transportation mode is available towards Sylhet from Dhaka. You can get in there by bus, train or air.

Ha-du-du: Ha-du-du is a very popular game. It is a game that is played in the open field. It is a game of joy not only to the players but also to the spectators. It costs minimum but gives maximum joy and thrill. This game requires a small plain ground. The ground is divided into two equal parts. A line is drawn across the mid field.The young and strong boys of the villages play Ha-du-du. There are two teams. Each team has equal number of players. The players stand face to face on a line. Each team stands within one part of the ground of the opponent party. He utters du-du all the time holding his breath control. He tries his best to touch one or more players of the opponent party. If he is successful in his attempt and comes back to his own area, the touched players are called dead. And if he is caught within the area of the opponent party, he is called dead. In this way the game goes on. The game comes to an end when all the players of a party are dead and the other party wins.
Kanamachi: Kanamachchi is popular village game. A number of children stand in a circle. One of them becomes the kanamachchi. He is called so because a piece of cloth is tied over his eyes and he cannot see. He runs after children. If he can can touch anybody, then the touched person becomes the new kanamachchi.
Dariabandha: It is another village game. In this game a field is made under certain rules equally divided with lines keeping equal distance from each other. The players are divided into two equal teams. One team stands outside the field and each of the players of the other team stands on each line facing at least one opponent player. The players standing outside enter into the field one by one and try to pass across the field to the end. If any player of a team can cross the field from the starting point to the point and vice-versa, the team concerned wins the game.
There are few other games also.Once villagers used to play this games a lot,but now a days it is almost forgotten.Even most of the villagers have forgotten all these games.We must do something to protect it from loosing this games from our culture.

Boat Race nouka baich in Bangla and very popular game in riverine areas of Bangladesh. Boat race demonstrates the boatmen's technique and prowess in giving their boats the maximum speed and forward direction. In national boat race the boats have to cover a distance of 650 meter. Each boat can be manned by 7, 25, 50 or 100 persons.
Rivers form an integral part of Bangladesh's history, tradition, literature, culture and sports. Boat race consequently, is an important element of folk culture. Rivercrafts help create ports and markets requiring the services of expert carpenters, who are often found to compete in skills in making boats. Different districts have different types of boat. In dhaka, gaffargaon and mymensingh kosha type of boats are mostly used for racing. These boats are narrow in shape and can be as long as 150 to 200 feet. Their front and back are straight.
These boats are made of timber of local shal, shil, karai and chambul trees. In Dhaka, faridpur, tangail and pabna districts narrow and long boats are used in racing. Their lengths can be 150 to 200 feet but the backs are about 5 feet above the water and their fronts almost touch the water. Their front and back have many decorative works. These are also made of timber of shal, garjan, shil karai and chambul. In comilla, brahmanbaria, ajmiriganj and sylhet sarengi boats are used for racing. These are about 150 to 200 feet in length and 5 to 6 feet in breadth. Their front and the back are flat like the beak of a duck and remain 2 to 3 feet above the water. In chittagong, sandwip and lower noakhali areas sampan boats are used for racing. These are made like ships. In Dhaka and Faridpur goyna boats are used for racing. These are 100 to 125 feet in length and have a breadth of 8 to 9 feet in the middle. Their front remains 3 feet above the water and the back remains 4 to 5 feet above the water.
During Muslim rule, nawabs and other ruling class people used to organise boat race. According to some sources, they used their naval fleet for this purpose. In the coastal belt of East Bengal it was necessary to maintain naval forces to protect the kingdom or occupy other kingdoms. The bara-bhuiyans of Bengal fought against the Mughal on the basis of their naval strength. A Naval force was also used to suppress Magh and Harmad pirates. Their fleet used to have sleek boats known as 'chhip'. The boat-based naval fleets of those days are no longer there but thanks to boat racing, the excitement of their speed is enjoyed even now by the common people of Bangladesh.
In Bangladesh boat races are usually held during the Bengali months of Bhadra and Ashwin. While racing, the boatmen sing in chorus seeking God's blessings. The boats are named attractively, proclaiming their speed or design, for example, the Jharer Pakhi (bird of the storm), Pankhiraj (the king of birds), Saimun, Tufan Mail, Mayur Pankhi, Agradoot, Dipraj and Sonar Tari (golden boat).
Before boarding their boats, boatmen purify themselves and wear uniform vests and tie up scarves of the same colour around their head. Those who row standing take their position at the back. The leader stays in the middle. The drummers and the singers provide beat and tempo to the boatmen.
To encourage boat racing and improve its organisation, the Bangladesh Rowing Federation was formed in 1974. It helped establish a link between traditional boat racing and modern rowing. The federation is a member of several international rowing federations. To encourage this sport, every year a colourful national boat race is organised. In 1990, an international boat race was also organised.

In the early 12056, a Turkish-born captain of power Uddin Muhammad Bakhtiar khilaji defeated Lakshman Sen of the Sena dynasty fell. Until the 16th century came under the Mughal empire, Bengal was ruled by the local Sultan and the landlords. After the conquest of the Mughal, the capital of Bengal was established in Dhaka and it was named Jahangir Nagar.

China-rose: China-rose comes from India. This large shrub or small tree grows to 15 feet high. The toothed leaves are arranged alternately and vary a lot, but tend to be large, dark green, and shiny. This plant has a coarse texture and may be upright or broad and spreading. . Most are flared and have a bell shape and may be single or double, smooth.They have a long central tube with stamens and pistils at the tip.
Polash: Palash (Butea monosperma) is lovingly called "The Flame of the forest". When in full bloom in the spring, the whole forest really looks like as if in flames. . It starts blooming end of JAN and around mid March it is in full bloom. Krishnachura: Krishnachura trees are grown on both sides of the roads, are graced with scenic beauty in the district town and rural villages. Krishnachura trees usually begin to bloom with eye-catching deep red flowers in bunches from the last part of month. March but now trees bloom in May or June. The trees with thick branches fully bloom from the month of March every year. The Krishnachura shaggy trees give stein fruits and these are used as fuel wood. The roadside trees also give shade to the tired pedestrians in summer from the heat.
Sheuli: The Sheuli is the flowers of autumn. It is small in size with bright white petals. It is white in color and looks very charming. This flowers is don’t stay. The sheuli flower is very bright and beautiful if you take the time to look closely.
Jasmine: Jasmine is a very popular flower around the world, especially in tropics because of its unique fragrance. The Jasmine is native to tropical and warm temperate regions of the old world. Jasmine flowers are white in most species, with some species being yellow flowered.
Jasmine flower and the essential oil extracted from the flower are being used extensively in cosmetics and perfumery, and as a calmative (relaxing properties, sedative).

Relationships and marriage in Norway are fairly relaxed compared to most countries in this world. Like many of its neighbors, Norway is a very liberal country that views relationships and marriage quite differently than they did a century ago. Today marriage is not viewed as a necessity and a couple living together or having children prior to marriage is not seen as a negative by most of society.
This attitude towards marriage begins with relationships in Norway. Many young people want to establish themselves as individuals prior to marrying, which means dating is generally drawn out over time as individuals place education, careers, exploration, and owning a home as higher priorities than marriage. Most Norwegians date much as they do in other European and North American countries, but rarely does a relationship become serious until the couple is in their mid-20s if not older.
Despite the delay in marriage, many Norwegians find themselves in committed relationships through the dating process, which often leads to living together and even having children (most first born children in Norway are born out of wed-lock). These things, much like gaining an education and starting a career, are often viewed as more important than marriage itself. A part of this is because many people view marriage as simply a legal standing, plus few people put great weight in religious reasons that encourage marriage. Despite the delay, and at times lack of belief in marriage, people in Norway still marry in significant numbers. Both heterosexual marriages and same-sex marriages are legal in Norway and many people do marry, although that might not occur until a couple is in their 30s or even later.
When, and if, couples decide to marry, they do so for a number of reasons. Many simply decide it's the right time to marry, while others marry for legal reasons, or to have a large party. In fact the party is the one consistent in large Norwegian weddings as these generally go well into the next morning. Of course with these weddings, expenses can quickly add up so some people chose to have a small civil ceremony instead. For couples with children, it is common for their kids to participate in the wedding as it's truly a family affair.
Family life in Norway follows much of the same lines as dating and marriage. Children are sometimes born prior to marriage, but most children are conceived willingly and parents, married or not, often share the responsibilities and household chores. However, generous maternity leave laws mean mothers are still the primary care takers.
As most people work in Norway, both women and men, day cares are common and government-supported so most children attend these care centers. In the past most Norwegian couples only had one or two children, but this is slowly changing as couples tend to have any number of kids today and the population is actually on a slow incline due to this (although immigration is making that rise in population grow a bit more quickly).
