I remember in the second half of the nineties until 2005 they always participate in Champions League. For away teams it was difficult to play in Trondheim especially in late autumn :)

You are right about that. Every team that played Rosenborg away in autumn had problems. They have beaten loads of strong team home, and actually AC Milan away hehe :)
