Getting the first seedlings in the soil.

in norway •  7 years ago

Even though it is snow and minus 6 degree celcius outside it is time to get the first, slow growing, seeds in the soil.

To day it is pepper, cucumber, sweet peas, water melon and two kinds of tomatoes that are being planted

Here six pepper seeds are ready to get tucked in

Smart ting to mark what is in the soil, or else it will be quite a challenge to guess what is coming up>/center>

Even though it is the middle of Mars, it is still snow, ice and cold outside, but at least the sun are up and shining on the greenhouse. Let the warmth come very soon, I beg every day!

Until next time, stay safe, warm and dry

Kindest regards

it is a very good hobby, it gives you hope to see your seeds progress until the day you can consume them.

I would like, even if it is impossible for the moment to have the opportunity to plant seeds of some fruits and vegetables for daily consumption to consume only local products because it is beneficial to health.

Thx a lot @Aminekad
I love to work in the garden and especially see the seeds grow.
Hope you find time and place to plant something yourself

I hope so, my children asked me often that we should buy a house with a garden where we can plant trees and plants & also taming cats and dogs.

in Morocco the weather in March is sunny but this week there is a lot of rain.
We are a country known for agriculture and this rain is very useful for the agricultural season.
Good luck to your seed to bear fruit.
Best regards @agdali

Thx a lot @Agdali
I have heard that besides being a good country for agriculture you also have a lot of good spices.
Rain is important for growth in Norway also, but we are lucky because we have a lot of it :)

Oh, as it is pleasant to see that you also the fan the gardener! We will begin to plant too soon seedling for now at us snow lies!

And my friends and I planted seedlings of peppers, eggplants and tomatoes.
We already have no snow and soon there will be a plus temperature.
Soon I will plant the seeds of flowers on the seedlings, but immediately into the open ground.
I wish you a successful harvest this year.

Hi @Lika0812
Thx for the wish :) I am also going to plant a lot of things right in the soil, but seeds like from the pepper, watermelon and cucumber needs a long time to grow, so that is why I start to plant inside.

I have a friend, she sprouts vegetables growing in a greenhouse. I take the plants from her and plant them in my garden.

Hope your plant produce these kind of beautiful pepper, cucumber, sweet peas, water melontatase_pepper_2.jpg

I hope so to. I have grown my own vegetables for some years so I guess it will turn out great this year also :)

forventer at du lar oss få se årets system!

PH måler kan fås her

You're an amazing man. Do you also do gardening? What's your climate? Do you grow tomatoes in a greenhouse or outdoors? We have green peas planted directly into the ground on the street. I also bought watermelon seeds, try to grow something.

Thank you @Solnishko, I do a lot of gardening. The climate here in south of Norway is about -5 degree celcius during winter, sometimes up to 20 minus and in summer it can be up to 25-30 degrees warm.
So we have all the four seasons.
Good luck with your planting :)

I see. We have winter is usually -20, to -40 sometimes. Every year worried about how they wintered our landing. Our summer is unpredictable. It can be very hot, it can be cold and rainy. Last year in June we went to warm jackets

Nice vegetable seeds and soil
it's good for health
thanks@ gyldenhorn

That;s Very Awesome. Beauty of nature :):)
