I live in a house that my grandfather bought in the year of 2000. He bought this place just some kilometers away from a place that his father built in 1928!

This cabin is way up in the mountains and deep in the wood. You even have to cross a lake!

The girl and I put a lot of pride into cleaning the place up, and we love staying there. There’s no running water or electricity, and you have to chop your own firewood.

Her first ‘tiiiiiiimbeeeeeeeer’

We have to fetch our own water:

The place has been in our family for generations

We tried putting some new outdoor furniture on the porch, but it’s like putting makeup on a pig. (It’s not what you see in the photo...)

The only value here is what it means to me and my family. Thinking about all the good times my grandfather and grandmother had here. Enjoying red wine and a good fireplace!
