Lars Vaular

Lars Nesheim Vaular (born September 20, 1984) is a Norwegian rapper, poet, artist and songwriter from Åsane in Bergen.

Vaular debuted as a soloist with La Hat - A new daylight ... in 2007. Then he had several releases in the duo Tier'n and Lars. On May 4, 2009 he made his second solo album D'e delight. The album had more hits singles and was nominated for the 2009 Game Prize 2009 in the hiphop class. On May 3rd, 2010, at night, all day, was the first of his albums with national distribution and promotion (Bonnier Amigo). For the album, he won the Spellemann Prize 2010 in the hiphop class and received the newly created Spotify scholarship this year's innovator in the same distribution. He was also nominated in the class of the year's music video for the video of "One One" and the year's hit for "Straight up and down". He also won the Dialect Prize for Norsk Målungdom for 2010.

During the 2011 Game Prize Prize, he won for the third consecutive year in the class hiphop for his fourth album, You Mean, and also won the class copywriter. He also won the Edvard award for 2012 in the class text for music for the same album. In 2013, the album 1001 came home, Vaular's fifth solo album, which carries a clear feature of fiction and the stories reflect today's society. The album has gained great criticism and the single "Gary Speed" has received praise from both Norwegian and English fans of the football legend, known from their time as a player and trainer in Leeds. During 2015, Vaular released a series of three EPs named 666 ALT, 666 GIR and '666 OPINION. He won the P3 Prize under P3 Gold in 2015 and was nominated for three prizes under the Spellemann Prize 2015: class urban for 666 ALT, class this year's album for the whole trilogy and the 666 opinion class writer.

Vaular has raided the mountains since 2003. He has previously worked with Tungtvann, Side Brok, Jan Eggum, Myra, Fjorden Baby! And John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen.

Lars Vaular, who is married and has two children with Malin Kulseth (daughter of The Act-figure figure Bjørn Kulseth), is the cousin of the artist Sondre Lerche.
