Massive Attack


Massive Attack is an English trip hop band composed of Robert Del Naja and Grantley Marshall. Founded in Bristol in 1988, the band plays electronic music combined with elements from jazz, hip hop, rock, classical, soul and several other genres. They have released five studio albums, including the debut album Blue Lines (1991).
Massive Attack has collaborated with several artists over a major singing pen, from rapper Tricky to Sinéad O'Connor and Madonna. In 2004, they produced the soundtrack for the movie Danny the Dog with Jet Li in the lead role. Their music is also used in several other movies, including The Matrix ("Dissolved Girl"), The Insider ("Safe from Harm") and Snatch ("Angel"). The song "Teardrop", from the album Mezzanine, is used as the tune of the American TV Series House.
