Just promoting some rappers from my old "hood" in Norway

These guys are keeping it real. I don't know if they ever even got a small breakthrough. But as far as I know they've been making beats and rapping for 25 years.

I think they're pretty good! What do you think? :D

Good stuff! Added to my list of "learning Norwegian" lessons :)

Haha..good luck. Even hard for me to understand the jargon. :) Mostly just joking around, not taking yourself too seriously-rapping. Back in the days life wasn't really that gangster in Norway..go figure. But with globalization, there is some legit gangster-rap from Scandinavia too. Not a big fan of that though, even if it perhaps reflect a certain lifestyle.

Me neither... its just like back in the Heavy D days... rap was fun. The serious stuff switches me right off as well :)

Yeah, exactly. Either they had a message, trying to make a positive impact, or they were just goofing around. Last 15 years it's been pretty bad. I can't really come up with anything worth listening to after maybe 1998 or something :)

Are they AnCap though? LMAO jk. Hey man you should check out Quarashi, an Icelandic rapcore group, but with rockier beats. Similar to this, but much heavier on the rocky side.

BTW, I've been enjoying your posts very much so far, ever since I arrived on steem.

You know what! I only know one of the guys a little bit (doesnt hang out or anything, just know each other by name and connections) but he is very ancap on Facebook :D So yeah, I'd say he's AnCap :)

Thanks a lot! I'll check out Quarashi. :)

Nice post
I will follow you, I hope you follow me too :)

Thanks G!
