Vøringsfossen a popular waterfall in Hardanger

Vøringsfossen is one of the most famous waterfalls in Norway.
When the river Bjoreia flows into Måbødalen, the fall is a total of 182 meters. The highest vertical waterfall is 145 meters.
Vøringsfossen is a popular tourist destination, and when people stand on top of the view towards Måbødalen, one must not be afraid of the height.

Vøringsfossen located at Eidfjord, the inner part of the Hardanger Fjord. During the summer season, the big cruise ships visit this place and bring many tourists to look at the beautiful scenery of Hardanger. From these tourist ships, there is a trip to the beautiful and impressive waterfall.
