Ableton workflow with KiΩhm: The making of a forest track for Steemit - Part 1

in norway •  7 years ago  (edited)

Hey guys!

I want to share a bit of my personal workflow in Ableton with you.
Therefore I'm starting two more music related series on Steemit.
Yes you heard me right, 2 more!

I will take you with me on the journey of producing a few tracks from scratch, and I will be documenting every step trough a video series made exclusively for Steemit!

In the first of these two series i'm showcasing the production of a forest psytrance track.

In the other upcoming workflow series I will be showcasing the production of chillout tracks. stay tuned!

Great, @xtetrahedron! Upvoted & Followed. Here one of my electronic soundscapes impro with Xavi Lloses, one of the most creative knobplayers in Spain. https://steemit.com/music/@chicosonico/deal-to-death-duelo-mortal-schvarzman-vs-lloses-muerte-festival

¡Cheers from Barcelona!

Really nice sounding soundscapes on that video @chicosonico !
I gave you a follow and upvote, Cheers from Norway ^_^

Glad you like it, man! Thanks a lot! :)

Great job as always!

Thanks mate! ^_^

Nice one mate, grats on the payday.

Thanks mate!
This payday will finally unlock my voteslider so i can become a bit more active here! :D

nice post, thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for tuning in :)

I am saving up for Ableton suit and gonna learn it from scratch starting september. Finding this was so awsome :) thanks for this! upvoted and resteemed

Yes! Great post, I want to see the hands on action as well

Maybe for the next episode i will set up a webcam so you can see what i do with knobs & buttons as well!

I tried keeping the workflow as much as possible to what you could see inside of the DAW for this episode though.

Thanks for a great tip @divilati !

cool bro. always nice to see others workflow :)

Hopefully more psytrance producers start showing up here soon! ;-)

You should add all the sounds to a Novation Launchpad, connect it to that software, and make a compilation video with a cool remix of all the sounds in the track :P Could be cool :)

I don't own a launchpad, but i will be featuring more gear in upcoming posts :)

Awesome stuff :) I had a Launchpad for several month last year, it's really cool, it's just not very user-friendly.. The software is so complicated LOL!

Man! I dig the beats, really trying to learn Ableton myself and please share some more videos like that in the future! :)

Thanks! Stay tuned for more Ableton videos :-)

@jordangadayan
Spamming on other peoples post with your own totally unreleated music posts is not the right way to get attention on Steemit. Especially when you don't even leave a upvote on the post you are spamming on... (i checked on steemd)

I see from your history you have posted this on 3 other high ranking music posts as well.
Some bigger users don't take kindly to this kind of behavior... so take this as a kind warning.
I have seen some people gotten downvoted pretty badly for the same type of behavior in my short time here.

As a user of Steemit for only 1 month myself i urge you to rather focus on making a nicely formatted and written post to get the attention you deserve, what you are doing now is in my mind counterproductive.

Ableoton working with along time but you must to be musical. I'm not cry.

nice one !!

keep it up !!

Upkept it will be!

cant wait to see it!

dope!! this helps alot even though i mainly do hip hop production, but i currently use fl studio and have been trying to find another DAW to use and after watching this Ableton might be it!

Ableton is my favorite DAW, but if you are on a lower budget Bitwig might also be worth checking out!

It's just great to see this kind of content on Steem it , thanks!!

Thank you! :)

Great... i have ableton for my music covers and its good and easy to work with ! Love this software

Ableton is awesome! :)
