El día Pi fue creado en denominación a la expresión matemática ''PI'', existen dos días el día del PI y el día de la aproximación al PI, es increíble pero esto fue ocurrencia del físico Larry Shaw, en San Francisco. De hacer un Día especifico para esta denominación matemática, y google no se quedó atrás expresándolo en su menú de inicio.
