أين ستلعب البطولة؟
أعلن الاتحاد الدولي للتنس، أن المرحلة النهائية ستلعب في العاصمة الإسبانية مدريد أو مدينة ليل الفرنسية، ولكنه لم يحدد المقر بشكل قاطع، إلا إن بعض المصادر داخل الاتحاد أكدت بشكل غير رسمي أن مدريد ستستضيف المنافسات خلال العاميين الأوليين.
وقالت عمدة مدينة مدريد، مانويلا كارمينا، أمس الإثنين: "مدريد قريبة من استضافة كأس ديفيز".
متى ستلعب المرحلة النهائية؟
أعلن الاتحاد الدولي، في أغسطس/ آب الماضي، أن النسخة الجديدة من كأس ديفيز ستلعب ما بين يومي 18 و24 نوفمبر/ تشرين ثان، ولكنه لم يغلق الباب بالكامل أمام تغيير الموعد إلى شهر سبتمبر/ أيلول.
وقال عضو مجلس إدارة الاتحاد، الأسترالي مارك وودفورد، في تصريحات لوكالة الأنباء الألمانية: "أعلنا أن البطولة ستقام في نوفمبر، لأن الاتحاد كان يرغب في احترام الموعد المعتاد لإقامة نهائي كأس ديفيز، ولكننا نتناقش الآن حول تغيير الموعد".
ويسعى الاتحاد الدولي، من خلال تغيير موعد إقامة البطولة، إلى تفادي هبوط مستوى اللاعبين في نهاية الموسم، مع حلول نوفمبر/ تشرين ثان، ولكن قد تواجه هذه الفكرة مقاومة من اللاعب السويسري روجيه فيدرر، الراعي الرسمي لبطولة كأس ليفر، وهي بطولة استعراضية تقام في سبتمبر/ أيلول من كل عام.
ما نوع أرضية الملعب الذي ستقام عليه البطولة؟

من الدول التي ستتلقى بطاقات الدعوة؟
لم يعلن الاتحاد الدولي للتنس بعد، عن أسماء هذه الدول والتكهنات التي تثور حول هذا الموضوع كثيرة للغاية.
ولكي تتلقى إحدى الدول بطاقة دعوة يجب أن يكون لديها لاعب يحمل جنسيتها في قائمة المصنفين العشرة الأوائل، أو أن تكون هذه الدولة ضمن تصنيف الدول الـ50 الأفضل في كأس ديفيز، حسبما أشار الاتحاد.
وتشير كل الظروف المحيطة بالبطولة، إلى أن الاتحاد الدولي وشركة كوزموس التي يمتلكها لاعب كرة القدم الإسباني، جيرارد بيكيه، التي استحوذت على الحقوق التجارية لكأس ديفيز خلال السنوات الـ25 المقبلة، سيسعيان بكل قوة لضمان تواجد النجوم الكبار في البطولة.
ماذا سيحدث مع مدربي المنتخبات؟
سيسفر النظام الجديد للبطولة عن مواقف غير معتادة، فهناك بعض الدول سيتعين عليها الانتظار لمدة 14 شهرًا حتى تشارك في النسخة الجديدة للبطولة، كما هو الحال مع إسبانيا على سبيل المثال.
