Charles Dickens was one of the greatest English Novelists of the nineteenth century. His family was poor.
When Charles was 12 years old, his father was sent to prison for debt. Charles , for a short time, he had to work in a factory. Later he became a journalist in London. He began to write novels and soon became a famous novelist

Most Dickens's novels are about his own experiences of his life .
His own early poverty helped him to understand the lives of poor people.

He wrote about them with understanding and sympathy. He showed the suffering caused by cruel laws, and in this way his book led to many socisl reforms.
Great expectations(1859) is among the best of Dickens's works. It is said that Pup was his favourite child character.

This is a man who was born poor but inspite of his situation,he rose and became of the famous novelist.
He was poised and determined to make it in life amidst all challenges.
Do you easily give up because of your situation, because there is no help,,,remember Dickens.
Am not only sharing this great man for sharing sake but to relate his story to ours and fight till the end.
