Now Playing Week #12 - Whole Wide World - Wreckless Eric

I've been a fan of Wreckless Eric since 1979 when I heard him on the STIFFS LIVE record. This is his most widely known song and has been covered by The Proclaimers, Cage the Elephant and was the song by Will Ferrell in the film "Stranger Than Fiction" If you haven't heard his other songs from back in the day, you're in for a treat. He still tours with his wife Amy Rigby (Dancing with Joey Ramone).

He and Amy still tour and I plan to see him in Philadelphia next month at Johnny Brendas. His performances are fun and although the music is great, his funny comments and stories between songs are quite entertaining. Hope you enjoy.
