Yesterday I felt the need to breathe clean air, that of the sea and the wild dune between a storm and a glimmer of sunshine.

I took my watercolors and the car, to cover the distance of 20 km. and I went to the most beautiful place in Lazio: the coastal dune between the coast of Sabaudia and Latina.

An oasis of uncontaminated greenery, without houses and villas on the sea, where you find priceless peace, and food for thought that lead to dreams and psychological well-being.

I love walking on the seashore, especially in times when there are no tourists and bathers and yesterday after the storm there was no one!

I started painting a foreshortening that presented itself before me, like a miracle of nature just waiting to be collected.

I represented a natural curtain made of myrtle, euphorbia and juniper, to name just a few Mediterranean shrubs that are the pride of the Circeo National Park, the place where I lived for 20 years, very close to Terracina.

A single act opens up, where the protagonists are theirs: the vegetation and the sea at sunset.

A comedy with a happy ending, which brings you back to peace with the soul and generates only good intentions and positivity. New energies that are recharged by profuse sweetness by unparalleled actors, who play a unique part, every day, without interruption. They are actors who show themselves in all their beauty for free, leaving us incredulous in front of their carefully prepared script for millions of years.

Millions of replicas that we humans are trying to interrupt, forever.

Ieri tra un temporale e uno spiraglio di sole ho sentito il bisogno di respirare aria pulita, quella del mare e della duna selvaggia.
Ho preso i miei acquarelli e la macchina, per coprire la distanza di 20 km. e sono andato nel posto più bello del Lazio: la duna costiera tra il litorale di Sabaudia e Latina.

Un'oasi di verde incontaminata, senza case e ville sul mare, dove trovi una pace impagabile, e spunti di riflessione che sfociano in sogni e benessere psichico.

Amo passeggiare sulla riva del mare, soprattutto nei periodi in cui non ci sono turisti e bagnanti e ieri dopo il temporale non c'era nessuno!

Ho iniziato a dipingere uno scorcio che mi si è presentato davanti, come un miracolo della natura che aspetta solo di essere raccolto.

Ho rappresentato un sipario naturale, fatto di mirto, euforbia e ginepro, per citare solo alcuni arbusti mediterranei che sono l'orgoglio del Parco Nazionale del Circeo, il luogo dove ho vissuto per 20 anni, molto vicino a Terracina.

Si apre uno spettacolo ad unico atto, dove gli attori protagonisti sono loro: la vegetazione e il mare al tramonto.

Una commedia a lieto fine, che ti riporta in pace con l'animo e genera solo buoni propositi e positività . Nuove energie, che si ricaricano per mezzo di dolcezze profuse da attori ineguagliabili, che recitano una parte unica, tutti i giorni, senza interruzione. Sono attori che gratuitamente si mostrano in tutta la loro bellezza, lasciandoci increduli di fronte al loro copione accuratamente preparato da milioni di anni.

Milioni di repliche che noi esseri umani stiamo cercando di interrompere, per sempre.

Spero che il mio acquarello e le fotografie vi piacciano.

As you can see from the photographs I took yesterday, there was not much sun, but the very bright result of my watercolor was the logical consequence of the wonderful enchantment in which I was involved by nature.

Come potete vedere dalle fotografie che ho scattato ieri, non c'era molto sole, ma il risultato molto luminoso del mio acquarello è stata la logica conseguenza del meraviglioso incanto in cui sono stato coinvolto dalla natura.
