Turtles lay eggs. Sea turtles have special glands which help remove salt from the water they drink.
Many turtle species are endangered.
We need to take better care of these wonderful creatures, over fishing, plastic, pollution and even torisem is hurting these speicies to almost extinction.

so true, they are so amazing and interesting to me, i find them zenlike and very moving, they cross oceans to lay eggs and really important to the ecosystem. they really should be well taken care of and protected.

I agree to that, they are amazing creatures. Here in Greece we have an endangered species that we are trying to protect, it is a big effort but more and more are coming through the years:)
