Traveling is an experience for all the senses and food is a big part of it! If you have ever visited Greece it is almost certain that you have seen (if not tasted), at least one souvlaki. It is kind of our national street food and you can find it practically everywhere, from a kiosk at an open market, to the menu of an expensive restaurant!
This is a plate of chicken souvlaki skewers served with pita bread, fried potatoes, dips and some salad in a restaurant at Yiálova, Messinia.
And if you are wondering why I am sharing a food picture every now and then, let me tell you that is because of the Photocircle Food photo contest that I have become quite fond of!
