Another artwork from the Baroque period created with my stained glass technique. I do not remember whose painting the portrait was inspired of, i guess Da Vinci but i am not sure. The bright red in the hair dominates the artwork accompanied by a fleshy tone for the face. For the background i chose a part of Garden of earthly Delights by Bosh inverted and gave them a blue tone to imitate a glass effect. It was the first i used real eyes and i was amazed by the result and process. The expressions were changing a lot with very different position of the eyes, it was really intriguing.

Giving your collage real eyes ~ Along with the brilliant red ~ Makes this collage very powerful indeed @georgeboya. Love the figures in the blue background.

And yes, it's always amazing how the eyes are so important in a portrait. I've seen paintings where no matter where you are in a room the eyes are still looking straight at you.

Thank you very much Ally:) I always had a fascination with eyes, they are the windows of the soul indeed:)

Another great creation @georgeboya, your art is also a way for many modern artists to learn about the old masters. I really like the background in this artwork and the silhouettes.

Very cool that you have drawn influence from various classic artists and created something new with it, Great work.

Thank you Jeremy:) It is in the nature of collage to mixing and composing elements that exist in a new form. It was only logical to get my first infuence from classical artworks:)

This is pretty cool!
