Today i would like to present another Greek artist, the illustrator Kark. He is a talented artist and a dear friend of mine. I am in the process of bringing him to the art community, but as aways there is a really slow progress due to the difficulty to grasp the idea of blockchain in general. In my opinion this is one of the most serious problems and it hinders a lot the expansion of art community at the blockchain.
Kark lives in Thessaloniki Greece, he is a traditional and digital artist and studied art and illustration at the De Montfort University Leicester (DMU). He has been working since recently at the Capital newspaper as a caricature artist and also illustrated a children's fairy tale book.
I like his art style a lot, he is an artist that puts a lot of work in the details and also uses an impressive palette of colours. His caricatures are very realistic, almost to the point that you think that maybe it is a distorted photograph. He uses also the language of symbolism and this obvious from the tiny yet important details of each portrait.Finally his comic book style brings me memories of the 80s and 90s style of illustration that i loved when i was younger. Rough colours, unclear outlines and a deep passion for creation.
I really hope to persuade him to join and make the art community a little more rich. Wish me luck.

Wicked artworks! Love his subtle choice of realistic colours :) All his illustrations seem almost surreal and dreamy. I'm always a fan of artists who use sketchy strokes and textures.
Not going to deny, I was skeptical about steemit before too. Took me a while. I reckon it must it must be even harder for artists who are so used to physical publications to get their head around blockchain. I guess it takes one step of curiosity for the rest of the pieces to fall into place (plenty of looking up and comprehending the system).
