Summer Tears - Fiber Optic Light Painting Portrait

When looking at a series of light paintings I made of a person, I usually see very similar moods and the feeling it wakes, this time flowers and the season spring. Here with Binta we really discovered that flower power spring-summer feeling. When we saw that image we all liked it from that moment. I hope you too.
Thank you for the easy going relaxed shooting Binta.

To create this portrait I used a black fiber optic brush from LightPaintingParadise. The exposure time was 53sec. at F10 on ISO 250 on 70mm (70-200mm F2.8 lens). What you see here is btw not flowers we attached to her hair, its actually the same set of flowers lit on each side of her head.
If interested how it's done follow the YouTube tutorial I made on the topic.

Only difference to the actual video - I normally use my Canon most of the time .. the Olympus helps to illustrate it for you ...

if you have more questions how its done ask me please.

The image looks like a cross between a scene from a sci-fi film and some sort of spiritual awakening.

The glow of the warm lights, the detail in the highlights and the flowers create a wonderful impression.

Each time I see one of your artworks, I have to read the description to see if it was taken in one shot. The model must have had to be very still for 53 seconds! Amazing skill and execution of a great concept.

Thank you for sharing this with us

Thank you so much for your encouraging comment and support. Iam really glad you like it that much. 🙏

My pleasure :)

This portrait blew my mind! Very creative lighting, if i had put a title to the style i will call it Metabaroque:)

This portrait works really well. I like the "light tears" effect made with optic fiber, well done!

Thank you so much man. I guess you understand what the skill is ;-)

interesting idea. it probably is a lot of try and error.

Actually it was the third picture of the series. Also i will share one that was before later. I think i had 4 out of 8 really good once. That was really impressive with her. Sometimes it takes 20 times to get something. This was really easy this time.

Human body can be a theme in art. Yes, it is so good as a expression you wanna make. Spring blooms, the light burns, the flower welcomes the spring. All of image recreated by the light becomes summer tears. She is crying for the summer of the light. Wonderful picture. I will stay tuned ~

Thank you so much for your support. Glad you appreciate my work and thank you for "staying tuned". I think i have some more ideas to share with you. ;-)

WOW!!! I love what I am seeing, it is an incredible effect that I would love to learn how to do it.

Is it something difficult to do and will it be possible to do it in Ps?

Thank you my dear. The picture actually has not seen Photoshop ;-)
There is a tiny bit of Lightroom tone correction and crop. Mostly i try to get it all done during my single exposure. If you like you can watch the video and see how i do it. 8)
