Dull brown bag turns to be boheme and trendy

Hey, dear Steemies,
Today I returned to leather painting. I've got a second-hand bag from my friend with beautiful copper lock and dull brown color. Well, I don't like that brown but love shades of blue and green with some gold and white. So I began painting - not with brush but sponges, that gives beautiful texture and color gradient. Then I took my brushes, and painted golden spots as petals with white lines and leaves. It was so easy but spectacular. And, of course, trendy and boheme, as it is my style. I haven't decorated the other side yet but I think it's not so important because rubbing with clothes may cause paint to run off. Where not exposed to rubbing, there is durable and waterproof.

The coppers are masqued with adhesive tape:

I tried some pink, but seems not a good idea!

So that piece of leather turned to turquoise.

You can see the original dull brown as well!

Very beautiful and interesting!

It's beautiful, I love the final.
Do you custom all of your handbags ?

Thank you! No, it's my first handbag-painting, and it will be sold in an online market. Then I'll buy an other one, second-hand, to decorate it again.

Oh cool. For your first piece it's a success :)
