New Painting - Paradise, New Zealand

ntopaz-image-0 ntopaz-image-1 I love painting these small studies, they are small paintings in their own right but they are great for using as reference for larger art works. I have just completed this small oil painting of Paradise in southern New Zealand. Paradise is a place about half an hour from the village of Glenorchy, it’s surrounded by high mountains and some of the most stunning scenery in the world. I have a particular fondness for this location as I have painted outdoors here many times.

wow this paintings is extraordinary my friend. you capture beautiful landscape view in you painting. the mountains with white snow and greenery make it beautifully in this painting. i must say one thing by this pairing is Paradise in southern New Zealand is beautiful place. Really good work my friend.

Hey, Sam! I hope it's warmer over there, Melbourne has been really cold though we did have some sun as well this week :)

Lovely small piece, with this one, I really like the mountains and the river <3 Such a peaceful place, and your colours are gorgeous as always :)

Hi @samuel-earp-ar, once again it is nice to see your oil painting. I love the range of high mountains, it is great contrast between sunny side where you applies pink-yellow and shadow with darker such blue. I love to do myself such play with colors. You are very good in that. Also the variety of green colors for the trees, bushes and valley, enriched the whole painting :)
