Beautifully drawn @scrawly. Her hair reminds me of the energy of water, her garment, the energy of the earth and the moon the energy of air. I was looking for the energy of fire ~ Must be the fire in her belly/solar plexus radiating out the love of the feminine energy. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

What an interesting take of the picture, Ally. Thank you for telling me :).

Pleasure. I love looking at imagery and letting it speak. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

This is really nice....keep up the good work

Thank you.

I found your sketch by chance and now I am happy, as I love it. It has so many allusions, to traditional Japanese fabric patterns, to myth of trees and life which are found in many regions and times, to the moon as a deity...
I love such multi-layered artworks so much: thank you <3

It is indeed a drawing with subtle and hidden meanings. I'm glad that you found and liked my art :D.

Thank you.

I like this style very much, especially her hair and the texture on her dress.

I am glad that you like this style, I am also very fond of these kind of illustrations. And I worked hard on her hair and her dress, so I am doubly happy that you like them.

Thank you carlpei ^_^.

It’s totally awesome in all its creepiness. Embrace the creepiness. It may be the last thing you ever do 😆

All those fiddly little details look amazing!

I do like creepy art, yes, yes! It is good that you like them as well!
And yep, all those details... there are reasons why I don't do these kind of art often, they take more than a day to finish. I'm glad the details are appreciated though :).

Thank you fyn <33333.

Perfect done, as always! : )

Too kind, as always!! <3

Very nice, I like the way her hair folds like waves crashing!

Her hair is the idea of this picture :D.

This is exceptionally beautiful! I love the expression on her face- very serene and slightly mischievous :) Great choice of colour pallet too - muted and slightly vintage-looking, LOVE it!

Boy is this one right up my alley! I love the sea and the Japanese wave hair here is truly wonderful.

3 steemitboard achievements unlocked in a post. I should have gotten another achievement XD.

I like how soft she looks @scrawly :) the moon beaming behind her creates a mysterious feel to who she is. And it looks like one of those expensive chinese/japanese art pieces, the ones with rolled up paper.

Posted using Partiko iOS

Yes, that is the feel that I want to convey, an old Asian painting in a rolled up paper. I'm glad you told me, marblely :).

Hmm... I love, once again, the nice usage of monochromaticism here. Added in the fact that the colour and details look like some early coloured and animated movie before technicolour came about. And the intricate lines and the complexity in those clusters are nice. From the white-gold hair strands, to the fish scale chestplate and to even the oak-hard skirt that looks like multiple tassle ropes instead.

Looks like, once more, those animated movie posters. More-so, like Mother Nature in the flesh and fairy-tale esque. I can imagine some Peter Pan story or maybe a Green movie involving her; the former a goddess and the latter casting revenge on humanity after seeing her children of humans, plants and animals die and suffer so much.

Upvot’d and resteem’d.

Thank you.

I love this one very, very much, @scrawly ! The poem accompanying it is very wonderful and I love her expression and hair sooooooooo much <3 The hair really looks like the waves of the ocean and that pearl at her belly is amazing, and my favourite part is the intestines like dress :D :D :D

Gorgeous <3 <3 <3

One of my absolute favourites from yours * ___ *

upvotes and resteems

Yes, yes, I think only you understand that her dress is made from her intestines XD.

Thank you spider. I'm glad that you're still around in Steemit ^_^.

oh... the detailing!! This is absolutely fantastic!! Beautiful work, boss, I have to say this is one of my favorite works from you so far!!

It is one of my favourite of mine, so I am glad that you agree with me :D.

Thanks beechan :).

Wow! I really like this picture!
I like a mysterious lady😆
Anyway, In ancient Japanese thought women are considered to be the same as the moon.
Your art reminds me of it. very beautiful😀

Ahhh yes! There are some countries where a woman's face is compared to the moon. I wonder why, but it is a cute and endearing fact.

Thank you ryo-san :).

TOO funny @scrawly. Well not really all that funny. Just initially struck me as being funny. And when I asked myself: 'Why is this so 'funny' to you Ally?' I realized that I've never actually seen anyone express that a woman's face can be compared to the moon before. I've always seen the moon as representing feminine energy rather than being the actual face of a woman.

BUT I LOVE IT. When I was a kid I used to be called 'Moonface' and I absolutely HATED it. Moonface was one of the characters in Enid Blyton's The Magic Faraway Tree and I had what other kids considered to be a round face.

Nowadays I would take it as being the highest compliment ~ 'Funny' how thoughts and attitudes change. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

I understand you perfectly. I'm not sure why being a round face is not a good feeling, I know that my cousin and a few of my friends have this face shapes and they always try to lessen the roundness using hair style and makeup and some even consider plastic surgery. While on the other hand, the Japanese, Chinese, Persian, and many others have phrases that praise women when their face resemble the moon o_O;;;.

It is indeed funny that what's up is down and vice versa. I reckon people with weight would be happier with their body images if they are born a few hundred years ago.

Hope they got over the crazy notion of plastic surgery. Yes it's a crazy mixed around world but I guess that's what makes it so interesting. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

I don't think it's creepy at all. It's beautiful!

I am glad that you think so.

Thank you Melissa ^_^.

The monochrome is really fitting. I like the antique etching feeling this has to it. Beautiful detailing in the hair. Good job!

Thanks Kyt :).

Very beautiful!! I like this moody feeling. Great work!!

Thank you, I'm glad you like her, Naomi =).

Amazing work, as usual. I really like the calm and soothing expression on her face, and the hair is awesome. Well done.

Thank you for your comment, fictionspawn :).
