I like how you posed his right hand, I am not sure why but I am drawn to it in this picture. The scenery is painted really well, the bright ground and the colourful tree, the sky looks far and convincing as well. Well done, shibasaki-sama!

Ohhh no,'m too late to resteem this. I found you via @themadcurator who has excellent taste in art! Watercolor is so difficult (I think), and your work is stunning. And my dad is a farmer too. I've tried using acrylic (not oil, not chalk pastel, not watercolor!) to capture him at work. (I gave up.) Your painting reminds me in a good way of an old Felix Prosser I love:
