ntopaz-image-0ntopaz-image-1ntopaz-image-2ntopaz-image-3However, in English it is called as "Burflower". A very common flower which can be seen hanging on the tree during the rainy season.

The beautiful "White & Yellow" looking flower has three different layers. The Core part is made up of a Green hard layer, which was covered with the Yellow soft layers. And on top it has the White soft bristles, that make them a unique flower. You will feel these flower quite soft on holding. (Kind of human body, the bones constitute the core part, whereas the Yellow part makes the skins and the white part as hair)

These flowers grows in big tree which are around 45 ft from the ground and generally covers the entire tree Green leafes with these Yellow and White look making it a treat to eye. It has a mild fragrance too. Kids generally spend time plucking them either by climbing on it, or by throwing stones on the stem. They just play with them. Moreover on ripening many people loves to eat the core part which turns orange.

It was said the lord Krishna use to spend much time on these tree while playing his flute. quite interesting thing which make these tree more favourite to Indians. Infact many local people find some health remedies with the KadamTree and it's flower which I surely share in another post.

I got these flower plucked direct from tree and shot using

"Cannon Powershot A1100 . f/8.0, 1/200, 6.2mm"

What a beautiful flower! I have never seen anything like it. It's kind of like a dandelion, but much more complex.

Nope it nowhere near to dandelion. It grows in a tree and completelly round in shape....kind of tennis ball.with fur shortness due to the white bristles.

I'll admit I've never seen this type of flower before, but it is simply gorgeous!

That's true it is very beautiful and you can feel the softness in your hand. The mild fragrance is good to pull you in early morning breeze

What a beautiful flower @steemflow. Interesting to hear they are edible :) I could just picture someone playing a flute amoung the sweet flowers, how fun!

They are not only edible but posses some medicinal benefits as per the localities....will share the detail sooner....you might heard of Lord Krishna. There were stories of him playing on these trees
