Samurai Pizza Cats - 3D printable Model kit

in my understanding there was only one full 3d printable figure of the main character Speedy from the the Samurai Pizzacats, that model i had printed a few years ago and think it came originally from Thinkercat and the model not had very defined lines and was because of the used tools a bit like "clay", though i enjoyed the model, but always wanted to make a first step in making a own fan art version of it, to print it big and with separate parts and the possibility to give it different posses.

The Samurai Pizza cats is a Japanese mecha manga cartoon, anime series from the 90s (キャッ党忍伝てやんでえ, Kyattō Ninden Teyandē)

The series is set in Little Tokyo, a mechanical city which fuses feudal Japanese culture with contemporary culture, and is populated by cybernetic anthropomorphic animals.

Model is made with the free 3d tool, Meshmixer it took very long to design the 3d model and it is done over a period of time, printing all parts and sand, paint, polish the model, also took multiple sessions, but very happy with the results. the model is 27 cm tall.
(on the included picture the model still misses a bit of paint). in the future i may update the model with two swords, and may look into making the rest of the team in the same style.

Post printing

• Sanding, sanding, sanding
• Mr hobby, surfacer 1500
• Tamiya White spraypaint
• Citadel paint for details
• Tamiya polishing compound for extra shine

Pose the model and hot glue the parts together or what i did is meld holes and add magnets into the parts so the head and arms can be given a different positions.
