An impressionist hand...

ntopaz-image-0Once in a while I force myself to make something that's not quite literary -- My goal is to paint in the style and quality of Boris Vallejo, and I've got a long way to go before I get there... But while all his stuff is very realistic, and that's what I'm working towards, once in a while it's good to do something that doesn't look real. Switch things up, try different styles... it's partly done as a challenge, partly to not get stuck in a rut, and... the more variety you have, the more you can figure out what your style is. Just because I want to be able to do things ta the quality that Boris has, I don't know that that is my style. It's a goal. So here you go, a non realistic hand.
