Dark and bold with this witchy inked drawing.
Sometimes I fear that my drawings will only get to shine once before they’re forgotten but that has changed now that I’ve begun inking them. It’s not exactly a ‘draw it better’ more like a ‘recreate it’ because I’m able to see new potential in past studies. I’m thankful for keeping all my sketches, especially the incomplete ones.
The original pencil for this image already had sass but the inking gave her more spunk. My aim for this drawing was to go for a bold, graphic look. Keep things simple and use as much black as possible. Near the end, I played around the idea of drawing her eyes. Maybe doing another spiral or a black hole but then I settled for script. I tempted @kommienezuspadt with a collaboration because he’s got top notch calligraphy skills but in the end I came up with something cheeky all by myself! Yay! :D
