I think you are on point with this post.
I always felt that there should be way more research put into nuclear energy.

It's a shame that when great discoveries occur...what come to the mind of those that are in power is how can we use that discovery to dominate others.

I feel...if the amount of experimntation that is put into using nuclear energy to create weapons of mass destruction, was put into devising other things with it, we probably would have cracked the code to hyper interstellar space travel. Who knows...maybe our homes and cars would probably have there own mini reactor to power them. Or, maybe we would be driving flying cars.
