Ahead of his gig in the city, Delhi-based DJ Nucleya relives some defining moments of his life through music.
When Koocha Monster released in 2013, people sat up and took notice. The debut EP of Nucleya (real name Udyan Sagar, 37) was unlike anything any Indian DJ had put out. The songs were bass-heavy, and distinctly Indian — with street sounds from south India.
Nucleya (former Bandish Projekt member) quickly became a crowd favourite and was headlining indie music gigs and festivals soon after.

Last year, he launched his debut album, Bass Rani, atop a giant truck at a Ganesh visarjan in Mumbai. Bass Rani was a huge hit too. Fans made graffiti on walls, and got tattoos of the album art. He is currently releasing songs from his next album, Raja Baja.
The man who creates such unique sounds must have been influenced by some really good music. So we asked him to look back at various stages of his life, and the songs he was listening to at the time.
