After several days in a row of binge drawing, I've completed my fourth entry for @yoganarchista's Nude Drawing Contest. I think I'm going to try to make a habit of this. I really love drawing figures. You can see the drawing below.

I based this drawing off of a photo of an art model. I can't find the original photo now, so unfortunately I won't be able to redirect you to the original source.

My last entry made heavy use of shadows and harsh lighting, which I really enjoy drawing. This one is a lot softer. The shades move from light to dark more gradually, which is a lot harder to draw, but I like my results.

If you liked this piece, please feel free to check out my other three entries to the contest here, here, and here.

I like the structure... nice :)

Now that I've had a chance to look it over a few times I'm a little more critical. I think I did a really nice job on the body, especially the chest and torso, but the face looks a little bit wonky. Something about the eye in the shadow doesn't look right to me.

The fact that the eye (because of the heavy shadowing) seems slightly off is only barely noticeable.

I suppose I'm my own worst critic.

I find there will always be someone out there who will criticize me worse than myself... so, it's never bad to make it really difficult for others to exceed me in that, lol.
